Field Note #113: Golfing for Water in Tampa

Last week, coinciding with World Water Day, Shane and I got to head down to the Sunshine State to host an event for the Tampa Chapter. Since I took a hiatus from leading the chapter to move to Boone and work for Wine To Water, it was really nice to get plugged back into the community there. We were even able to spend a beautiful afternoon on the golf course for a charity tournament. We were able to share WTW's purpose and mission to over 100 golfers and do some wine and chocolate sampling. Unfortunately, nobody made a hole-in-one at hole 17, but it was a super unique and fun opportunity for us, and we thoroughly enjoyed being outside for the day and meeting new people. Thanks Steve Robinson from GTE Financial for inviting us to be one of the benefiting charities of your Scholarship Scramble tournament!
