W|W Nepal Program Report
July - December 2017
Thank you for your support of the Wine To Water Program in Nepal.
From July - December 2017 Wine To Water was able to work closely with the community of Dahakhani to complete the construction of 34 taps stands. The water was brought in from over 4 kilometers away, and involved the construction of collection tanks, sediment tanks and reservoir tanks. Today, over 1,200 residents, including a school with over 200 children now have access to clean water.
In addition to the completed project in Dahakhani, Wine To Water in Nepal distributed 117 filters, impacting over 400 people in areas hrd hit by natural disasters, and conducted Hygiene lessons in local public schools for over 200 young children.
